WHY NATURAL HANDMADE JEWELS OVER MASS PRODUCED AND WHY SUSTAINABLE?

The Planet is our number one priority, as you are, and should be, and mass productions and ‘iconic brands and names’ are not the answer to sustainability.

And Yes, I'm aware and I know we all have our favourites I have a very special name bag, that I have had for over 20 years (ouch that went quick), and I will probably have it until I depart this planet, so that to me is worth the bang for the buck!  But quick fashion, not so much.

As a hopefully united planet (that I love to refer to as our beautiful melting pot of all our cultures melting together).  We as cultures, used to do wonderful things such as be ‘artisans’ and make our own jewellery, be it a daisy crown as a child to love in a summer day, or a ring out of an old copper penny (mum beautiful Mum did that, a Irish penny, loved and still loved) to taking an old watch chain and putting charms on it.

Sustainability I think, means we need to love and reuse our jewellery and everything else we can reuse for anything we can absorb and reuse.  To have something that can keep forever, give them to someone you love if you grow tired of and donate to someone you love or someone who need uplifted.  And at the very least love for a long time and enjoy the essence of be with the real planet aspects or ‘real jewellery’ with real gemstone and real sustainable metals, that we can recycle and reuse like copper, brass, gold and of course 925 silver or even better Hilltribe 99% plus.

Using real gemstones, shells that influence who you want to be, and overall, your perceptions of life, that can help you on your way each day.  Feeling love with Rose Quartz, when you are having a bad day, or using Labradorite to see what you may feel and don’t understand, Moonstones to understand what your ‘Moon’ feminine guide is telling you, as our Wicca friends will tell you.  Be in touch with yourself and understand what you may need each day.  Astoundingly when I first began to make handmade natural jewellery, and being toward more of a wicca outlook, I had no real idea of how astoundingly natural resources, such as Gemstones can help you deal with everyday life in a more natural way for sleeping, dealing with stress, feeling love, dealing with what to do in disturbing events, how to cope with unknown events.

You may be sceptical as I was and I know may are, but one you start using your instinct as use your instinct to know what you need each day to cope with, and hopefully finding time for yourself to meditate and be in contact with who you are and who you want to be on any day.  Find out more about how to do this with nature in mind.

Listing some of our magical gemstones to help you through your day and enjoy each moment you are given as a gift.  Life is fleeting and try to enjoy each moment you are given, as each moment no matter what you are going through is important, moving forward through life and taking each moment as a gift.  And we all need to remember we live on one planet, and we all need to share and be sustainable, reuse, recycle and remember we have generations to come ahead of us God willing, and we need to ensure this planet is not full of garbage for them.  And remember someone’s rubbish is someone’s gold, so pass one and give to others if you grow tired of anything.  Also remember if you use natural stones, you can always remark into something different, earrings become a necklace and necklace becomes earrings, etc.  Love to you and our beautiful planet… Earth

Here’s some stones you should look at from being a teenager, getting a career, getting married, having a baby, feeling love, thinking out of the box, need a uplift, having a hard day, travelling and the list goes on.

For instance,

Agate is a wonderful gemstone said for balancing the mind, body, and spirit as well as helping you to slow down and centre yourself. It is also said it transforms negative energy into positive energy. Agate enhances mental function, improves concentration, enhances perception and analytical abilities.

So, using agate in everyday life would help you move through your day, keeping a positive outlook and being to go about your day in a more productive manner. Much like Amethyst is said it helps ward off negative emotions such as depression, fear, and anxiety by attracting positive energy. Essentially amethyst is thought to create a protective bubble, promoting serenity, and reducing negative feelings like stress and anxiety.

Moonstone is said represents inner clarity, cyclical change, and a connection to the feminine. It is a symbol of light and hope and encourages us to embrace new beginnings. It is closely linked to themes of femininity such as fertility, balance, softness, and intuition.

So, again with Moonstone as your guide, you are said to have encouragement to embrace new beginnings, which we all need at times, and have that balance and intuition to know how to handle each moment.  It is said Moonstone, is a mother’s stone, to have that feminine side and have an understanding for your family’s needs and fulfilments.

Labradorite kin to Moonstone is said to temper the negativity within us as well. Labradorite is known for its changing colours, so it is no surprise this gemstone is known as a stone of transformation, enhancing strength of will and inner worth.  Also known for being a stone to know someone and have that inner intuitive, almost psychic connection within you to see how to deal and know others.

Natural Jewellery is just exactly that natural, it has been known for thousands of years through Egyptian, Roman, and Gothic times that Gemstones have other meanings that just to look amazing.  Being one with the planet is a gift and some are all our beautiful gemstones found on this planet, a way of connecting us to source and helping us deal with life on an everyday basis… well, that’s how some of us see it. The list of how to use your gemstone to use in everyday life goes on and on, so ...Enjoy your beautiful Beach Boho jewellery for many reasons.
